Vilain is Doryka. 26/19/ 3b 6.2. Not overly aggressive. aggr% 30, Raise Cbet 16%. (note: doesn't 3b ako against my utg open, not important here imo)
BB is a fish.
Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $2(BB) Replayer
SB ($210)
BB ($287)
UTG ($215)
Hero ($534)
BTN ($205)
Dealt to Hero J K
fold, Hero raises to $7, BTN calls $7, fold, BB calls $5
FLOP ($22) 3 J 5
BB checks, Hero bets $14, BTN calls $14, BB folds
TURN ($50) 3 J 5 K
Hero bets $28, BTN raises to $78, Hero ????
Is vilains range here wider than sets?

I generally don't like to give up my hand when i hit good, but that's a big leak (and i generally don't play cashgames much)
Dunno if he could have like AQdd (AdJ, AdK?) here that float the flop with 2 overs and picks up a gutshot + nfd. But with one player behind to act on the flop, i'm not sure if he would float.
Oh and he would 3-bet these hands perhaps.

Belangrijke opmerking van KZ , BB is een fish . Dus de button kan daar best met heel goeie handen gewoon callen ipv te 3betten aangezien hij positie heeft en de fish in de pot wil houden.

Preflop I prefer 3x over 3.5x but it doesn't matter that much.
Postflop really depends on how BTN thinks about the game. A straight forward regular (i usually recognize them by their low W$WSF %, like 40-42 which is way too low; <45 is generally too low) will not get creative too much postflop. They won't float here with the intention to take the pot away on a later street. They may take one off with a pair and then usually fold to a second barrel. If they don't fold to the turn barrel and would actually raise their value range (sets, two pair) on the turn you can 3barrel them off a J on the river. So against this player you will be facing 33, 55, JJ or KJ every time. He puts you on an overpair or AK and hopes you stack off.
If BTN would be a tricky player, floating a lot and trying to find spots to take the pot (usually having a high W$WSF) then his range for calling your flop bet is a lot wider. Against this type of player it's hard to get away from the hand. They usually 3bet 33 and 55 preflop a decent amount of the time as well. The K in their eyes could be the perfect card to 2barrel for you. They could be asking themselves something like 'i float a lot, if he puts me on a float then the K is a card I would always barrel when checked to, then why is he betting?' They could even turn 77 into a bluff. Your betsizing could be interpreted as weak as you're not setting up for a river shove.

He is the first kind of player.
I folded. Pretty spot on analysis.

Philip (25/07/2010) Your betsizing could be interpreted as weak as you're not setting up for a river shove.dit wou ik ook vragen , wrom is je turnbet zo laag? is da std voor jou of op die limieten , zou toch minstens 34-36$ maken daar? en nog een vraagje dan , is alleen de w$wsf belangrijk daar of ook de afq op turn ? pak dat hij 5d6d heeft
