Waar droom jij van als pokerspeler? De hele wereld rondreizen en de grootste toernooien en cashgames spelen? Een leven als rockster met volledige vrijheid en decadente luxe? Als bekende speler altijd in de schijnwerpers staan en gevraagd worden voor talloze pokershows? Elke speler heeft zo wel zijn pokerdromen. Wat de jouwe ook moge zijn, met een [u]sponsorpakket ter waarde van $100.000[/u] kan je er eindelijk werk van maken: live your dream!

Everest geeft 10 zulke pakketen weg voor een totaal van $1.000.000.

Hoe kom je in aanmerking voor een sponsoring? In een eerste fase zullen ruim 200 spelers zich kwalificeren voor de finale ronde. De finale ronde is een live casting in Wenen waar 10 spelers een sponsoring zullen ontvangen.

Er zijn drie manieren om je te kwalificeren: via het tournament leaderbord, via cashgames, en via de Direct Entry toernooien. Meer informatie in het Engels:

[u]Tournament Players[/u] (Toernooi Leaderbord)

Each week during the online Live the Dream qualification, the Top 5 players will win their seats in the Live the Dream finals based upon their Tournament Leaderboard standings. Only players who opt into Live the Dream and create a unique player profile will be eligible for the Live the Dream Tournament Leaderboards.

The Top 3 players on the Multi-Table Leaderboard and the Top 2 from the Sit & Go High Leaderboard will qualify for the Live the Dream Casting. Our Live the Dream Tournament Leaderboards will be calculated the same way as our Everest Poker Tournament Leaderboards.

[u]Ring Game Players[/u] (Cash Game Leaderbord)

Beginning on October 5, bi-weekly Summit Point and Cash Bets Won Races give ring game players two ways to qualify.

Each Summit Point Race will qualify the Top 5 Summit Points earners for that week. Only Summit Points earned during that week of play will count towards the player’s weekly total.

During the week-long Cash Bets Won Races, the Top 3 No Limit Hold’em players and the Top 2 Limit Hold’em will qualify for the Casting. When competing in a Cash Bets Won Race, your goal is to achieve the highest win rate based on Big Bet (BB) or Poker Tracker Big Bet (PTBB), depending on your preferred Hold’em ring game.

[u]Direct Entry[/u] (Direct Entry Tournaments)

104 players will win their seats to the Live the Dream casting via a $100 + 9 Live the Dream Direct Entry.

For the first half of the Live the Dream online qualification, Everest Poker will be running country-specific Live the Dream Direct Entries. Depending upon where you are from, there will be anywhere from one to four opportunities to qualify by playing against only those from your homeland.

During the last four weeks of the promotion, there will be a weekly Live the Dream direct entry open to all players. The Top 5 players from each tournament will win their seat to the Live the Dream Casting.[/quote]

An informal cocktail party will be held to kick off Live the Dream, as well as to provide an opportunity for players and staff to socialize with one another. This is also a great way to start getting to know your fellow player…and size up your competition, of course.

[u]Saturday, January 23[/u]

Make sure you are well rested. You have a long day ahead of you.
After breakfast, players will receive their instructions for the first day of competition and be divided equally into two groups.

Members of Group A will begin the day with interviews. Each player will take part in a five-minute taped interview conducted in their native language. Players will be judged upon these interviews, which will also be reviewed by the judges during deliberation. During the interviews, Group A will be playing in cash games while waiting to be called upon by the judges.

While Group A goes through the interview process, Group B will play in live Sit & Go tournaments. Once the Group A interviews are complete, there will be a short lunch break. Following lunch, the groups will switch. Group B will do their interviews while Group A plays in a live poker tournament.

The players’ performance in both the cash games and tournaments will determine their Live Poker Skills score.

During the evening break and dinner, Everest Poker will decide the Top 20 players who go on to the next round. These players will be announced during Saturday evening’s cocktail party.

[u]Sunday, January 24[/u]

You’ve made it this far. There’s no need to be nervous.
The top 20 players will go through a more rigorous interview process and will meet with several more Everest Poker representatives. The interviews will last 20 minutes and will also be taped.

After the interviews are completed, they will be reviewed and the Everest staff, along with several VIP and industry judges, will deliberate, deciding upon the 10 players who will make the Live The Dream team.

Following dinner, there will be an awards ceremony announcing the winners. Immediately after, they will attend their very first press conference as a sponsored Everest Poker player.[/quote]
